Bala Vs Ujda Chaman: Lawyers Of Both Parties Watch The Films, Will Submit Reports Tomorrow To The High Court- EXCLUSIVE
The Bala Vs Ujda Chaman controversy is far from getting over as none of the parties- Kumar Mangat or Dinesh Vijan’s Madock Films are ready to budge
When Bala announced its release date as Nov 7, a day before Ujda Chaman’s release date (Nov 8), Kumar Mangat- the producer of Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman was left baffled to no end. And why not? After all Ayushmann Khurranna starrer Bala, being produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Madock Films and backed by Jio Studios, deals with the exactly same issue of premature balding as Mangat’s film. Firstly a clash of concepts and then dates too, Kumar Mangat was mighty upset when he had spoken to us about it.
The last update was that Kumar Mangat dragged the makers of Bala to the court. The case was admitted on Oct 16 and the first hearing had taken place on Oct 17. And now, SpotboyE.com has it that the lawyers of both sides saw the films, with 2 more neutral parties. They have jotted down their observations and will submit a report, consisting of the similarities and difference in both the films, tomorrow to the High Court.
While Ujda Chaman is an official remake of Kannada hit Ondu Motteya Kathe, according to Mangat, Bala has lifted the idea from writer Kamal Kant's concept, who also had raised his voice- not too long ago - against Bala by filing a case against Vijan and Ayushmann.
Well, not too much time is left for the films to hit theatres and this fight seems to be far from over as of now as both the parties are not ready to budge. We will bring to you all the updates on this super clash, stay tuned to this space.
